Are the Islamic State Khāwārij?

In the name of Allah, all praise be to Allah, and may prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who followed him. This is a concise reply to the common allegations brought up by some of the Muslims who claim that the Islamic State are khāwārij. In Sha Allah this will be of benefit to many Muslims & I ask Allah to guide them to the truth through this article.

May Allah make this article sincerely for Him alone. Any mistakes herein are from myself or Shaytān & anything correct is from Allah ‘Azza Wa Jal.

To come to the correct answer, we first have to define the term ‘khawarij’. The reason we start with this is because, many Muslims around the world throw this word around without knowing its true meaning. The singular of the word khāwārij  is khārijī & the main traits of the khāwārij are as follows:

1. Takfīr on major sins

Al-Shahrastānī may Allah have mercy on him ( A Shāfi’ī scholar of Ahlus Sunnah from Shahrastān, in current day Iran d.548 Hijri) said:
“And they ( i.e. the khawarij) make takfīr on major sins, meaning; whoever falls into a major sin such as Zina (fornication), drinking alcohol, or stealing is made takfīr on (by them) & has left the fold of Islam & is in hellfire for eternity with the rest of the kuffar” [Al-Milal Wal Nahl p106:]

He, may Allah forgive him, also said: “They say that you should rebel against a ruler if he contradicts the sunnah (even though he has not commited kufr) & they see this as a wājib (obligation)”

Ibn Hazm said: “And whoever agrees with the khāwārij in denying the governmental ruling, making takfīr on those who commit major sins, rebelling against an unjust(but Muslim) ruler, that ashāb al-kabā’ir (those who commit major sins) are in hellfire for eternity and that the Imam (Khalifah) can be other than a Quraishī, then this person is a khārijī ” [Al-Fasl 113/2]

2. Takfīr on anyone who disagrees with them.

Imam Shafe‘e said that these bid`a groups make takfir on you if you dont agree with them, whereas Ahlus Sunnah accept that you can disagree with them, but do not make takfir on you for that. However, this would depend on what you are  disagreeing on though, if the issue is one that takes a person out of Islam, then they (Ahlus Sunnah) would make takfir on you, such as someone claiming that the prophet Muhammad (SAW) is not the last of the prophets.

3. Rebelling against a Muslim ruler

It is haraam to revolt against a Muslim ruler however much he oppresses the Muslims. But the Khawarij do rebel against the Muslim rulers and this is their hallmark. They did this with Ali(ra).

Ubadah bin al-Samet(ra) said:
“…we pledged allegiance to him (Rasulullah) which obligated us not to contest the authority with its people unless we see obvious kufr for which we have evidence from Allah.” [Agreed upon].

Also in the authenticated book of Ahmad and the Sunnah of Ibn Abi Asim, (they said do not compete against the rulers) “so long as they do not order you to (commit) a clear transgression.”

It should however be known that if the Muslim ruler becomes an apostate as is the case with the current Arab rulers, it becomes a must on the Muslims to revolt and depose him by force.

Al Qadi Ayyadh, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
“If he(i.e. the ruler) came to commit kufr, or a change to the Shari’a he loses the authority of the state and obedience to him is nullified. The Muslims must rise up against him and remove him and install a just leader”

Imam al-Nawawi in his explanation of sahih Muslim said that Qadi Ayyadh said:

“The ulema are in agreement that the leadership cannot be entrusted to a kaffir and if he came to commit kufr he should be dismissed.”

Secondary traits (which don’t necessarily have to be present for one to be a khārijī) include:

i.) rejecting/denying the prophet’s fountain, the punishment of the grave, the intercession, seeing Allah Azza Wa Jal, the Sirāt
ii.) shaving the head bald
iii.) rejecting ahadeeth which “contradict” the apparent meaning of the Qur’an (not the actual meaning said by the mufasirīn) hence denying the Hadd punishment of Al-Rajm (stoning).
The Islamic State has none of the above characteristics.

The scholars do not call anyone a Khariji except that he fits in all the 3 characteristics. However, the main traits are number 1 and 2, as there were some classical scholars who believed that you can rebel against an unjust ruler with conditions of course. The stronger opinion is that you don’t revolt against him even if he is a fornicator or an alcoholic, as long as he is still a Muslim.

Now In Shā’ Allah we will go into some of the arguments raised about the Islamic State by some muslims to ‘justify’ that they are khawarij:

First argument: The Islamic State make takfīr on all the Muslims in Iraq & Sham and make their blood halal.

“Glory be to You (Our Lord) This is a great slander” ,An-Noor 16}.

We ask those who say this to substantiate their claim as Allah says;

“Bring your proof if you are truthful” {Al Baqarah 111}

We know that if an accusation is wrongly thrown at a person or a group, the task of the group is to declare barā’a (innocence) from this accusation openly which Alhamdulillah the Islamic State did very well.

The official spokesman of the Islamic State, Al-Shaykh Al-Mujahid Abu Muhammad Al-Adnānī Al- Shāmī(HA), said:

“We would like to clarify here a misconception that has always been raised in this campaign, the claim that; ‘the asl (general ruling) of people is kufr’,this is from the bid’ah of the khāwārij of our time & the Islamic State is innocent from this saying. And in its aqeedah and methodology and what it believes in before Allah is that the Ahlu sunnah in Iraq and Al-Sham in general are Muslims, we do not make takfīr on anyone of them unless we confirm his apostasy with Shar’ī evidence of peremptory indication and peremptory proof. And whomever we find from the soldiers of the Islamic State saying this bid’ah, we educate him and explain to him, if he doesn’t refrain, we berate him and if he still doesn’t refrain, we expell him from our ranks & declare disavowal towards him and we have done this several times with the muhājirīn & the Ansār.” [Click here to listen]

This is a blatant calumny & this is exactly what their likes accused Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab of, who said:

“As for the saying that we make takfīr on the general public, this is from the slandering of the enemies who use this statement to delude people from this religion & we say Exalted are You, [O Allah]; this is a great slander” [Al-Rasā’il Al-Shakhsīyah 15/101]

And Al-Allāmah Abdul Latīf ibn Abdur Rahmān said:

“They said about Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb that he is from the khāwārij, and they also accused him of making permissible the blood & wealth (of Muslims)” [Al-Rasā’il Al-Najdīyyah 77/3]

Second argument: The Islamic State make takfīr on major sins & see that you should rebel against an oppressive(Muslim) ruler

This is also a lie without any evidence and the true understanding of the Islamic State regarding this matter is the same as Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamā’ah which is: That it is impermissible to rebel against an unjust oppressive ruler as long as his oppression does not reach clear kufr. And the evidence is hadith of ‘Ubadah ibn as-Sāmit in Bukhari & Muslim which says:

“… And not to dispute about rule with those in power, except in case of evident infidelity regarding which there is a proof from Allah.”

This pledge of allegiance is given by many Islamic State leaders, soldiers, civilians & even tribes.

The Islamic State follow the opinion of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamā’ah which is in the saying of Al-Hāfidh Ibn Hajar who said: “If the ruler falls into clear kufr, then it is not permissible to obey in his orders, rather it is wājib (obligatory) to wage Jihād upon him for those who are able”

The rulers of Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt & other countries with Islamic State presence have all fallen into the kufr of ruling by other than Allah’s law, allying with kuffār & others. For example, Bashar Assad has fallen into the kufr of ruling by other than Allah’s law & is a Nusayri which, by ijmā’ (scholarly consensus), are kuffār & the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah further say that the Nusayri’s have fallen into all 10 nullifiers of Islam. [Listen to what our scholars say about the kufr of ruling by other than Allah’s law here:Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen: , Shaykh Sulaymān Al-‘Alwān: ]

Third argument: The Islamic State kill Muslims & abandon  the idol worshippers

This claim emanates from this hadeeth: Abu Sa’īd Al-Khudri narrated that the prophet Muhammad may peace and blessings be upon him described the khāwārij as:“They(khawarij) will kill the people of Islam (Ahlul Islam) and leave the worshippers of Idols (Ahlul Awthan) alone” [Bukhari & Muslim]

a) The Islamic State kill the people of Islam (Ahlul Islam)

The Islamic State control provinces and wide areas in Iraq & Sham bigger than Britain which has approximately 10 million Muslims living under it. They have not killed them nor have they threatened to do so, rather they give them their due rights & provide them security.

Al-Adnānī, the official spokesman, said:

“The Islamic State doesn’t make permissible the blood of a muslim, rather we do not target nor kill anyone except the combatant kuffār, and every one of you knows this very well, even though we are accused of this in the western media. If we wanted to target civilians and innocents, then the roads (we are in control of) are full of them and the markets are crowded (with them) but we are the most careful in terms of protecting the Muslim blood. If you support us & help us in our fight against the crusaders with your tongue & limbs we will support you & protect you, however if you stand in the camp of our enemies against us then what are you waiting for from us (other than fighting you)?

Another lie that is thrown at us by the supporters of the tawāghīt, is that the Islamic State fight any kāffir or mushrik rather anyone who goes against it, and they have lied! The fight of the mujāhidīn is a fight of guidance, Allah said after the ayah of the sword:

“And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety.” {At-Tawbah 6}

For the Mushrikeen who do not fight against the Muslims, Islam has given them protection and security among the Muslims and Allah has ordered us to grant them protection so that they may hear the words of Allah. Islam wants any heart to be guided because it is the manhaj(methodology) of Mercy & guidance and not the manhaj of enemity & eradication, however we wage jihad with the sword to get rid of oppresive forces which stop the people from hearing the words of Allah and hence stop them from being guided and cause them to ultimately worship other than Allah. So whoever understands this well, would know that the Islamic state fights the combatant kāfir who is opressive and tries to stop the spread of this guidance” [Listen]

Shaykh Al-Adnānī also said:

“Being brought forth and our heads struck one by one, is more beloved to us than the intentional killing of one Muslim. For by Allah, it was for them that we went forth & for the protection of their blood, money & possessions that we are here & we will continue to love them even if they dislike us & we will continue to give them victory even if they want our loss, we want them to live, even if they want us to die” [click here to get this]

b) The Islamic State leave the idol worshippers alone

The argument they use for this is that the Islamic State left Deir Ezzor(now wilayatul Khayr) where the Nusayri mushrikīn were stationed & went to Halab(Aleppo) to fight the “mujāhidīn” such as the Free Syrian Army, Liwa Tawhid, Syrian Revolutionists Front and other other sahawat. This can be explained very simply, the Islamic State have always put the Nusayris & Rafidhīs as a priority on their list, that is why they were in Dier Ezzor frontline fighting Bashar before they were backstabbed by these apostates on 3rd January 2014. Even if we agree with those that claim FSA and these other apostate groups are Mujahideen, is it not permissible to defend yourself from a transgressing Muslim? By Allah anyone who knows the happenings in sham knows that The Islamic state never started fighting any group rather it is these groups that started fighting them. On January 3rd, these sahawat attacked the lightly guarded centers of the Islamic state in Allepo and killed so many muhajireen just because they were muhajireen and raped some of the muhajireen sisters that were there. So The Islamic State had to quit their offensive in the frontline against Bashar and come back to Allepo and defend their people against these Murtadeen backstabbers. Thereafter, the Islamic State went back to fight in Deir Ezzor against Bashar’s soldiers & were victorious, and are now in control of most of the city. As for the claim that the Islamic State do not fight Nusayris & Rafidhīs, the evidences to refute this claim are plenty. How did the Islamic State capture Division 17, Minnegh airbase, Brigade 93 or Tabqah airbase? These were all military points under the control of Bashār Assad for many years & the Islamic State captured them all after killing & capturing hundreds of Nusayri’s. add to this the recent  victories in Hims(HOMS) in capturing Sukhna and Tadmur from Bashar.

“Listen up, O you who claim that the Islamic State doesn’t fight Bashar and doesn’t fight the shi’ah. I swear by Allah, we’re going to dispute with you in front of Allah. And the blood of our brothers here will be a witness. I swear by Allah, we’re going to dispute with you tomorrow on the Day of Judgment.”
Fourth argument: The Islamic State fight other Muslim factions in Sham

The Islamic State have not started a fight against any of the so called ‘Islamic’ factions in Sham, rather it is these same factions who declared war on the Islamic State in their statements & speeches. Many of these so called Muslim factions have received US backing to fight the Islamic State such FSA & Hazm movement & others have received backing by Arab tawāghīt such as Ahrar Sham ,evidence can be seen here said by a former soldier& the Islamic Front {well known for their alliance with FSA against the Islamic State in Syria & formed a coalition to fight the Islamic State named Burkān Al-Furāt which included YPG & IF & also the infamous coalition which was formed to fight the Islamic State in Deir Ezzor(Al Khayr) known as the Mishmish coalition which was backed by foreign tawāghīt & included other kuffār factions.

Also the accusation that is usually brought up in this context is that The Islamic state killed Abu Khalid As-Suri who was a veteran of the Afghani jihad and a close ally of the great jihadi leaders. Even if we were to agree for the sake of argument that The Islamic state indeed killed Abu Khalid As-Suri, will that qualify them to be khawarij? since when did killing one Muslim make a whole state Khawarij? Furthermore, the Islamic state shura council released a statement distancing themselves from his killing. So The Islamic state officially clarified having no hand in his killing.

Other groups such as Jabhat Al-Nusra also initiated the fight against the Islamic State last year in Deir Ezzor when Al-Joulānī gave the Islamic State a 5 day ultimatum to leave the province or he would expel them not only from sham, but also from Iraq. Actually Jabhat An-Nusrah bombed the Islamic state centers in Dier Ezor when The Islamic State went back to Allepo to defend themselves against the apostates that were killing the Muhajireen. So after this, would you expect the Islamic State to give them roses and candy in return?

The bottom line is that the Islamic state never started this war, and that they fought these groups because they were defending their lives, properties and honor.

Something important to mention is that the one who will call these factions Muslims is either a jāhil (unaware) of the wāqi’ (current situation) in Syria or is a jāhil of the nullifiers of Islam.

Also another important point is, if fighting happens between two Muslim factions it does not necessarily make one of them khawarij. During the time of ‘Alī (ra), he & Muāwiyyah (ra) fought each other upon a personal ijtihād (personal judgement according to the Quran & Sunnah) from each of them, now if we are to go by this crooked principle of branding one of the two Muslim groups who fight each other Khawarij, which group would be the khawarij? Ali’s group or Mu’awwiyah’s?
Allah says in the Qur’an: “And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” {Hujrat 9}

Notice in this ayah Allah ‘Azza Wa Jal calls the two factions that fight each other both believers and none of them are khāwārij.

Shaykh Al-‘Adnānī said:

“The Islamic State did not start this fight against you (O crusaders & sahāwāt) like your media portrays to you”

Fifth argument: The Islamic State admit that they have takfīrī’s in their army

I have shown above that Shaykh Al-Adnānī said here, that they show any khāwārij takfīrī in their ranks the true Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah & if they stay upon their deviance, they warn them & then remove them from their ranks & make barā’a on them  if they insist on this bid’ah & this happened with many ghūlat before. It’s important, however, to note that having khawarij in your ranks doesn’t make the whole army or the group to be khawarij. Don’t you know of the famous hadith concerning the one who started the khawarij sect –  dhul Khuwaysarah? Don’t you know that he was in the ranks of The Messenger of Allah’s army? Don’t you know that Ali(ra) had the khawarij in his ranks? Does this make their groups Khawarij? Subhanalah! Nay They were not khawarij rather they had some khawarij in their midst and it doesn’t make them to be khawarij. Similarly, The Islamic state admitting to have khawarij in their ranks, does not mean that each and every one of their soldiers is a khārijī.

Sixth argument: Our scholars say that the Islamic State are khāwārij

This accusation was thrown at greater scholars than those of the Islamic state like Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Taymiyyah & Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb (may Allah have mercy on them all) so it’s an old game.

Ibn al-Qayyim said in his long poem titled ‘Al-Kāfiyyah Al-Shāfiyyah’ in a section titled ‘Their lies & their accusing of Ahl al-Haq (the people of the truth) as khāwārij:

And from the strange things is that they say to those *** who take the Qur’an and Sunnah as a religion: “You are similar to the khāwārij who *** judged by the apparent of the text (Quran & Sunnah) and didn’t look into their (actual) meanings”

A sign of the murji’ah & Jahmīyyah is that they throw accusations to Ahlus Sunnah and call them khāwārij

Shaykh Abdur Rahmān ibn Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb said in his reply to the Jahmī ‘Uthmān ibn Mansūr Al-Najdī, who slandered the da’wah of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb in a message calling him a wahhābī & a khārijī:

“The apparent is that you wrote about the khāwārij & used Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah’s statements in doing so, and the reality is that the problem of the ummah is greater than that: the problem includes worshipping idols & rejecting tawhīd” (Al-Durar Al-Sanīyyah 44/12)

Subhān Allāh! Look at the similarities between today & yesterday!

They accuse the Islamic State of being khāwārij in their bātil fatawā & messages & the reality of the problem is greater than this, the problem includes worshipping of idols, beautifying its worship, rejecting tawhīd, allying with kuffār, delaying in ruling by Allah’s law & ruling by other than His law!

Seventh argument: Our scholars are knowledgeable and trustworthy!

Shaykh Ibn ‘Ābidīn was a very knowledgeable scholar who gave trustworthy fatāwā to the public & still slandered Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb the same way many scholars today slander the Islamic state.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Ābidīn Al-Hanafī said: “They (Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhāb & his followers) say that they are Muslims & that anyone who goes against their aqīdah is a mushrik & therefore they made permissible the killing of Ahlus Sunnah & the killing of their scholars”

Again, very similar to what they accuse the Islamic state of.

Eighth argument: We get trustworthy news from trustworthy sources in Syria that bear witness that the Islamic State are khāwārij

Very simple, they are the Islamic State’s enemies & the witness of a foe is not accepted in Sharī’ah, what you should instead do is listen from the Islamic State yourself & then judge them based on their statements & actions which they have claimed responsibility for.

“Why then, did not the believers, men and women, when you heard it (the slander), think good of their own people and say: ‘This (charge) is an obvious lie?’ ” {An-Noor 12}

Lastly, I bring the duā’ of Shaykh Abu Muhammad Al-Adnānī in his speech “This was never our manhaj and never will it be” , which In Shā’ Allah was accepted by Allah after seeing the effects it had on the current situation in Shām:

“O Allah if this State is a State of the Khawārij then break its back, kill its leaders, forgo its banner and guide its soldiers to the truth. O Allah if this an Islamic State, ruling by Your Book and the Sunnah of Your Prophet, fighting Your enemies, then keep it firm, honour it and grant it victory, and establish it upon the earth, and make it as the Khilāfah upon the Way of Prophethood. So say Āmīn O Muslims. O Allah, deal with all of those who split the ranks of the Mujāhidīn, and who divided the word of the Muslims, pleased the disbelievers, enraged the believers and delayed the Jihad by many years. O Allah expose their secrets and hidden intentions, and send upon them Your Anger and Your Curse and show us in them the Miracles of Your Power and Might. Say Āmīn O Muslims”

I conclude this article by saying that many of the arguments that people come with are weightless statements with no solid evidence, therefore after showing these clear evidences & the true methodology of the Islamic State said by its spokesman, there is no room for personal desires.

{It is only those who believe not in Ayat (proofs,evidences,verses,etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars.” {Sūrat Al-Nahl ayah 105}

O Our People Respond to the Caller of Allah

All praise is due to Allah, the Strong and Mighty. And may blessings and peace be upon the one sent with the sword as a mercy to all the worlds.As for what follows: Allah (‘azza wa jall) said,

{O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion, Allah will bring forth in place of them a people He will love and who will love Him who are humble toward the believers, powerful against the kāfirīn; they perform jihād for the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing} [Al-Mā’idah: 54].

And He (subhānah) said {O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the kuffār and let them find in you harshness} [At-Tawbah: 123].

And He (subhānah) said {Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the kuffār, merciful among themselves} [Al-Fath: 29].

And He (subhānah) said {There has already been for you an excellent example in Ibrāhīm and those with him, when they said to their people, “Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone”} [Al-Mumtahinah: 4].

Indeed, amongst the traits of Allah’s slaves, the mujāhidīn for His cause, whom He favored with His love towards them and their love towards Him, those He selects from His creation to establish His rule and govern with His Sharī’ah is that they are mighty against the kuffār, supreme, and defiant. They are supreme by their creed and tawhīd, not through themselves. They are defiant by their certainty that victory, strength, and triumph are for them by the grace of Allah, not by their weapons nor their numbers.

They go on with what their Lord has ordered them, not fearing the blame of the people, because the Lord of the people loves them. They are not concerned of how many of the people’s laws, traditions, and customs they oppose for the sake of Allah’s order. They don’t fear any catastrophes, no matter how much the people gather together against them, because Allah is with them. They are severe and harsh against the kuffār like the beast on its prey.

Those whom Allah (tabāraka wa ta’ālā) has chosen, selected, and bestowed His grace upon so that they establish His religion and impose His rule, disassociate from the kuffār, break off from them, and announce animosity and hatred towards them. They don’t ally with them and don’t compromise for them. They don’t live amongst them and sit in their shades. They don’t appease them even if they are their family, tribe, or people. This is the condition of those who establish Allah’s Sharī’ah. They don’t change no matter what disturbs them in their long path of trials and tribulations.

We see in these years of deception those who claim jihād and the struggle to support Allah’s religion and establish His Sharī’ah, while they deviated from the path of the Prophets. They have sought a guidance other than the guidance of our Prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and his noble Companions. You will see him fearing the days of defeat. He fears the blame of the public. He flatters the kuffār and compromises for them. He acts out for them and appeases them. Rather, he allies with them, defends them, and shows affection towards them.

You will see him hastening to build a relationship with them, by sweet-talking them and by rushing to open offices amongst them and under their rule, hoping to gain from them and to avoid their harm. You will see him pleading and begging for their help, aid, and support.

Whereas the Islamic State has known the path of honor, the path of our Prophet Muhammad (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam). It followed his footsteps and held on to his guidance. It will not change nor deviate from it, inshā’allāh.

We will continue on our path, with Allah’s permission. We do not fear the blame of the blamers. We do not care even if the people attack us all from a single bow and no matter how many nations rush against us or how many swords strike us. We do not care. Even if the donkeys of knowledge stumble in the mud, it will not harm us, with Allah’s permission, because we are upon insight from our Lord. We didn’t bring anything from ourselves nor did we do anything more than holding on to the Book of our Lord and the Sunnah of our Prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

O Muslims everywhere, we congratulate you on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadān arriving. We praise Allah for making us reach this significant month. Take advantage of this great opportunity, O slaves of Allah, hasten towards righteous deeds and search for the best of them. And the best of the deeds to draw closer to Allah is jihād. So hasten towards it. Aspire to battle in this noble month and to attain shahādah in it, because a voluntary act in this month is equal to an obligatory act in the rest of the months, and an obligatory act is increased tenfold.

So the wise and intelligent is the one who aspires to continue jihād and battling in Ramadān. No acts of worship are equal to jihād. And jihād in Ramadān is not matched by jihād in other months. So glad tidings to the one who spends Ramadān as a fighter for the cause of Allah, and glad tidings to the one whom Allah selects in this blessed month and accepts as a shahīd. Allah may increase the reward of a shahīd tenfold in Ramadān in comparison to other months. So, O Muslims embark and hasten towards jihād. And O mujāhidīn everywhere, rush and move to make Ramadān a month of disasters for the kuffār.

O Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere and we specially mention those in Iraq, you have begun to experience with the Rāfidah a reality that we had warned you about in the past. You have begun to live it as a reality and witness it with the eye of certainty, in Baghdad, Dayālā, al-Anbār, Karkūk, and Salahuddīn. You are not unaware of the abductions, murders, eviction of Ahlus-Sunnah every day in Baghdad. A Sunnī has no courage to reveal his religion there, nor is it possible for him to enter it. Who among you is able to name his son ‘Umar, ‘Uthmān, or Mu’āwiyah? Who among you can enter Baghdad today? The Rāfidah do not allow a Sunnī to enter Baghdad. Rather they don’t even allow those falsely considered as “Sunnī” to enter it. They don’t allow their servants, their followers, and their dogs from among the apostates of the Sahwāt, police, and army to enter it, for the reason that they are assumed to be from Ahlus-Sunnah by name, despite their long term services for them, despite their devotion to defend them, despite them being Safawī more than the Safawiyyīn themselves.

Ask about the apostate Sunnī officer from al-Anbār who was a boot of the Safawiyyīn, and was defending them against the mujāhidīn. His condition didn’t help him with the Rāfidah. When he fled from the mujāhidīn to Baghdad, the Rāfidah stopped him at the entrance of the city and bargained for his daughters, and it was a shock that awakened him and turned him away from his deviance. He then returned to al-Anbār, to the mujāhidīn, repenting.

The Rāfidah will never show mercy towards Ahlus-Sunnah if they gain control over them. How could they show them mercy? While they believe killing the Sunnī draws them closer to their false “gods,” even if this “Sunnī” fully abandoned his religion and only carried its name, and even if he was a servant or a slave for them who was devoted to serving and defending them.
And we do not speak to you today about an expected future, but we speak to you about facts you came to live with certainty. As soon as the Rāfidī Mobilization entered al-‘Āmiriyyah, it started assaulting the bases of the Sahwāt, the Sahwāt of treason and betrayal. As soon as the Rāfidī Mobilization entered ad-Dulū’iyyah; they prevented the Friday prayer. And you saw what they did in Dayālā, Salāhuddīn, and al-Anbār of burning down masājid and blowing them up, as well as the killing, slaughter, burning, and eviction of Ahlus-Sunnah, looting their wealth and pillaging their properties. You came to live these facts with certainty, O Ahlus-Sunnah.

Has the news of the jewelers and money-changers reached you, those who were abducted in Sāmarrā’ and then returned as motionless corpses? Have you forgotten the recent incident of al-A’dhamiyyah and the shouts of the Rāfidah there and what they proclaimed against you when they burned your homes and cars? Do you not hear them threatening you every day, O people of al-Anbār, describing you as “the head of the snake,” and intimidating you? O Ahlus-Sunnah, do you not see thousands and thousands of your people succumbing to the prisons of South Baghdad? Do you not know that amongst them are 1300 of the chaste, pure women? And this is only what has been made public and has been documented.

O Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere, the Crusaders resolved to clear Iraq of Ahlus-Sunnah completely and to make it purely Rāfidī. So wake up, O Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere, because the matter is serious! The Rāfidah have unveiled their true face. The extent of their enmity and animosity against you has become apparent to you, and the Crusaders’ enmity and animosity against you is not less than that of the Rāfidah. {Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the mushrikīn wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord} [Al-Baqarah: 105]. {And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able} [Al-Baqarah: 217].

Indeed, by Allah’s grace, the Crusaders lost hope of extinguishing the jihād in Iraq. They were unable to distance Ahlus-Sunnah from the mujāhidīn and they were unable to recruit them via what is referred to as the political process. Thus, the Crusaders lost this battle and Ahlus-Sunnah generally began rallying around the mujāhidīn. The Jews were frightened and alarmed by the daily bay’āt of the tribal leaders and dignitaries to the mujāhidīn.

They therefore decided to sell Iraq to the Rāfidah, Iran, and the atheists of the Kurds so that they may carry out the killing, incarceration, and eviction of Ahlus-Sunnah. This is a fact that has become as clear as the sun at noontime and this is the Crusaders’ true strategy in their war against the Khilāfah. Thus – with a fatwā of the accursed, filthy as-Sistānī, the muftī of the Crusaders – the creation of the Rāfidī Mobilization was completed, and it was trained and armed within a short period, and also fully supplied and provided with Crusader air cover. The door was opened wide for the Rāfidah to come from all countries. They formed the brigades, militias, parties, and groups, and even opened for every party – nay, every brigade – a satellite channel that broadcasts for it.

While in contrast, we see the apostates of Ahlus-Sunnah complaining to the Crusaders and kissing their feet so that they may arm them, all to no avail. The Rāfidah-controlled areas are gradually being cleared of Ahlus-Sunnah by killing, incarcerating, and evicting them. There are arrests of hundreds of them every day and the displaced people of Ahlus-Sunnah are not given permission to return to their houses in the areas which the Rāfidah take. Who has returned to Dayālā or Tikrīt? Who has returned to Jurf as-Sakhr or al-Kar’ūl, or al-‘Uwaysāt, or any other places? The displaced people of Ahlus-Sunnah are not given permission to enter any area that is controlled by the Rāfidah, especially the people of al-Anbār – and whoever of them managed to enter Baghdad is pursued and raided, to be killed, incarcerated, or evicted. Do you not read the signboards in Baghdad on which are written: “Whoever shelters a displaced person from al-Anbār is a terrorist.”

Thus, the displaced ones from the people of al-Anbār were abandoned outdoors, with the desert heat burning them, and some of them refuse even until now to return to their people and their religion. They suffer pain and drink from the cup of humiliation, and there is no power nor might except with Allah! And we did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.

This is nothing but the result of their abandonment of jihād and the loyalty of some of their sons to the Rāfidah and the Crusaders as well as these sons joining of the Sahwāt and the Safawī army, seeking glory with them. So Allah humiliated them. {And he whom Allah humiliates – for him there is no bestower of honor} [Al-Hajj: 18]. And this is also confirmation of the hadīth of Allah’s Messenger (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam),“When you trade in ‘īnah (a form of usury), cling to the tails of cows, and abandon jihād, Allah will bestow upon you a humiliation which He won’t lift until you return to your religion.” O people of al-Anbār, return to your houses and return to your people. Return to your religion!

And because the situation has reached this point and perhaps the murtaddīn from amongst those claiming to be Sunnī now know the reality of the Rāfidah, we say: It has reached us that many of them are determined to flee from the anvil of the Rāfidah, but are unable to do so due to their fear of our hammer. And for the purpose of being excused in front of Allah and then in front of the Muslims, and in response from Amīrul-Mu’minīn to the appeals of the leaders and dignitaries of the tribes, we hereby give the Sahwāt and those remaining with the Rāfidah – in the army and police – one final opportunity, and call them once more to repent. This is for all of them without exception, for we do not exclude officers or criminals, and we do not stipulate anything on them other than to surrender their weapons as a sign of their truthfulness.
We do not exclude anyone from having their repentance accepted this time, not even the Jaghāyifah clan in Hadīthah who have repeatedly apostatized, and this despite the fact that we are speaking from a position of strength and currently have Hadīthah under siege and may enter it at any moment. This is a precious opportunity for you and for all apostates, so seize it and repent in this virtuous month. Perhaps Allah will turn to you in forgiveness.

And if Allah bestows His grace upon us and we enter Hadīthah before you repent, then I swear that we will make you an example for generations to come, such that people will pass by Hadīthah and say, “There used to be a clan called Jaghāyifah here and homes that belonged to the Jaghāyifah.”

We likewise renew our call to the soldiers of the factions in Shām and Libya. We call on them to think long before embarking to fight the Islamic State, which rules by that which Allah revealed. Remember, O you afflicted by fitnah, before embarking to fight the Islamic State, that there is no place on the face of the Earth where the Sharī’ah of Allah is implemented and the rule is entirely for Allah except for the lands of the Islamic State. Remember that if you were able to capture one hand span, one village, or one city from it, the rule of Allah in that area would be replaced with the rule of man. Then ask yourself, “What is the ruling on someone who replaces or is a cause for the replacement of the rule of Allah with the rule of man?” Yes, you become a disbeliever because of that. So beware, for by fighting the Islamic State you fall into kufr whether you realize it or not.

Then think of all the pretexts that the callers upon the gates of Hell are using to get you to fight the Islamic State. You will find that they are all false pretexts. So think and reflect, O soldier afflicted by fitnah, and look with the eye of impartiality, not with the eye of a biased faction. Look with the perspective of the Sharī’ah and the evidence, and then don’t turn to the fatāwā of the donkeys of knowledge who’ve stumbled and fallen in trash. Do not let their famous reputations deceive you, even if they have a long history of writing and authorship, for they neither left the laps of the tawāghīt, nor marched forth to jihād. They spent their entire lives remaining behind with the women in their rooms, hunting the slip-ups and mistakes of the mujāhidīn. If they perform ribāt, their ribāt is on the frontiers of Twitter, and if they take part in battle, their battle is in the form of an interview on satellite TV. They have never fired a single bullet for the cause of Allah, nor have they witnessed a single scene or episode on the battlefield with the mujāhidīn.

It may be that if one of them wanted to join a faction, they would not accept him. And if he were accepted, he would not remain long before either he discarded them or they discarded him. It may be that if he were to contemplate, he would discover that his arrogance is what prevents him from marching forth, for his inner self would not obey him with regards to placing himself under the authority of any leader. It may be that he has never considered taking part in battle and will never consider doing so.

And after all that, even as a sinner sitting back from jihād, he wants to make himself out to be an authority for jihād and the mujāhidīn. Never!

I am from amongst those least in need of a pretender, who considers the people misguided while he himself is not guided.

When you attempt to lead the truth with falsehood it refuses, and if you were to lead the firmly anchored mountains with the truth they would submit.[Poetry]

O soldier afflicted by fitnah, be careful whom you take your religion from, and repent to your Lord so that perhaps He may have mercy on you and guide you. Furthermore, have you not taken a lesson, O factions and Sahwāt? Have you not taken a lesson from your predecessors’ fight against the Islamic State ten years ago? Where are the factions that fought the Islamic State? Where are the Sahwāt? Have you not taken a lesson, O factions of Libya? Have you not taken a lesson, O Sahwāt of Darnah? Have you not taken a lesson, O factions of Khurāsān? What will you gain from fighting the Islamic State? Does one of you desire to dig his grave with his own hands, or wish to have his head cut off, or his house demolished? What will you gain from fighting the Islamic State, O factions? Do you think that you will be able to eradicate it? Do you think that you are stronger in might than the Sahwāt of Iraq backed by America and its allies? Will you not take a lesson from the factions of Shām and their Sahwāt?

Stop your war against the Islamic State, O factions everywhere, and repent to your Lord. Do not stand between it and the Jews, the Crusaders, and the tawāghīt. As for he who insists on fighting it, let him not wail thereafter, or slap himself in grief, nor blame anyone but himself.

O Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere, and specifically our people in Jordan, Bilād al-Haramayn, and Lebanon, if you do not rush to help the people of the Sunnah in Iraq and Shām, then rush to help yourselves. Do not let your condition become like the condition of the one who said, “I was eaten the day that the white bull was eaten.” And if your īmān has become weak, your religious adherence has decreased, your resolve has failed, and you have left off and abstained from jihād, then do not let your honor and manhood die, for how can you enjoy life and live in pleasure in your homes while your brothers from Ahlus-Sunnah are being butchered and driven out of their lands, and their homes are being destroyed, their wealth is being looted, and their women are being violated? And this was not done except with Crusader planes that take off from within your midst, are financed by your wealth, and are fueled by your oil.

May Allah’s curse be upon your rulers! And may Allah’s curse be upon those of you who ally with them and support them! May Allah’s curse be upon the evil scholars, the donkeys of knowledge who drug you to sleep with their fatāwā, supporting the tawāghīt and consolidating their thrones. Wake up, O Ahlus-Sunnah in Lebanon, Jordan, and Bilād al-Haramayn! Rise up against your corrupt kāfir rulers. Rise up against them before you become regretful when regret does not benefit you. Do not sleep away, as the people of Yemen kept sleeping until its tāghūt kindled the fire of the Rāfidah in every part of the land, and then you race to extinguish it when it has already surrounded you and are thus incapable.

I see a fire being ignited from afar, whose rays extend to every region.

Banī ‘Abbās slept in its wake, so it became secure and nurtured.

Banī Umayyah likewise slept, and then raced to drive it back when it was too late. [Poetry]

O our people in Lebanon, Jordan, and Bilād al-Haramayn, we have warned you for years. The Rāfidah are advancing towards you. And your war with them is undoubtedly approaching, so you either march forth for it now and drive it back, or remain asleep and wake up to what the people of Iraq, Shām, and Yemen awoke to of killing, imprisonment, exile, the destruction of their homes, the looting of their wealth, and the violation of their women.

O you who sees the condition of Shām and weeps. What has affected you and what are you waiting for?

If the people are alarmed at what occurred in Bardā, then what is at the Euphrates and the two shores of the Tigris is amazing.

I see blood flowing along their banks, moistening and tainting the earth.

Baghdad is looking on while intestines are flapping, eyes are flowing with tears, and hearts are waiting in anticipation.

Where is ar-Rashīd and his days of past? Where are the guardians and the top youth?

What can a person hope for or fear more while the souls have been distressed by a life full of fear?

Pour upon my heart as fire the thirst for revenge brought by sorrow. And leave my heart for something else in which it will blaze.

There is no excuse for a people who, when we till them march forth, they refuse. Resolve is mobilized and good thought is delegated.

What do you hope for from security and comfort while wealth is looted and souls are destroyed?

O Ummah of courage, where is the courage? Harm has hindered you. O Ummah of glory, where are the glory and nobility?

Do not accept injustice and defend your honor. Honor is of those matters which even the Arabs would defend.

I see the honorable peoples always busied by the determination of leaders, not by distraction and play.

Either the honor of life is protected by might from disgrace, else there is death and destruction.

Protect the lands and be a people of patience who do not lower the wing of humiliation even if they are distressed.

What do you expect other than to be surrounded? And then there will not be a refuge nor escape. [Poetry]

As for the mule of the Jews, the failing Obama, his incapable party, his weak coalition, and his defeated army, then we say: Throughout history we have never heard of tactical setbacks. But we promise you in the future with more and more setbacks, inshā’allāh, and with surprises followed by surprises. So watch, we are also watching.

And we congratulate the soldiers in al-Qawqāz of the Islamic State on the announcement of the wilāyah. We congratulate them on their bay’ah and their joining of the ranks of the Khilāfah. Amīrul-Mu’minīn has accepted your bay’ah and has appointed the noble shaykh Abū Muhammad al-Qadarī as Wālī over al-Qawqāz and advised him to have taqwā of Allah both in his private and public affairs as well as with kindness and softness towards those with him. We advise all the mujahidin in al-Qawqāz to join his caravan and to hear and obey him in everything except sin. And we ask Allah (ta’ālā) to keep you firm, support you, and grant you victory.

We also call all the mujāhidīn in Khurāsān who truthfully endeavor to implement the Sharī’ah of Allah to join the ranks of the Khilāfah. We call them to abandon discord, the discord of the factions, parties, and groups, for the Khilāfah gathers all the Muslims, the Shāmī, the Iraqi, the Yemeni, the Egyptian, the European, the American, and the African. It gathers the Arabs and the non-Arabs. It gathers the Hanafī, the Shāfi’ī, the Mālikī, and the Hanbalī. So come to your Khilāfah, for you have fought for long years to revive it and to implement the Sharī’ah of Allah. Here it is now, revived. So join its ranks and do not be like the Jews about whom Allah (ta’ālā) said, {When there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it} [Al-Baqarah: 89]. So come and let your allegiance be to your Lord, and your religion, not to your nations, peoples, lands, or factions.

And in Khurāsān there are those who claim to be mujāhidīn fī sabīlillāh while being an ally of the Pakistani intelligence or others. We warn these people and call them to repent. Whoever does not repent and announce his repentance, then he has no one to blame but himself. O mujāhidīn, do not show these likes any pity nor mercy.

O soldiers of the Islamic State everywhere. These are the battlefields before you, these are your arms, and here is Ramadān. Renew your intention before Allah (‘azza wa jall). Be sincere to Him (subhānah). Adhere to renewing it. And repent to Allah regarding your private and public affairs and seek His forgiveness. Do much in repenting and seeking forgiveness. And know that Allah (‘azza wa jall) did not promise to give the mujāhidīn victory in every event. Rather, the established way of Allah (tabāraka wa ta’ālā) is to alternate the days of victory and defeat and to make war have its ups and downs. Allah (ta’ālā) said, {If a wound should touch you – there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people} [Āl ‘Imrān: 140]. So the mujāhidīn fī sabīlillāh might lose a battle or battles. Rather, turns of misfortune might overtake them and thus they lose cities and areas, but they are never defeated at all, for Allah (‘azza wa jall) made the final outcome and ultimate victory for them if they fear Him and are patient. But before so, it is necessary for tests and tribulations. So if you lose land, then you will regain it and more, inshā’allāh, even if after some time. This is because the final outcome and consolidation, by Allah’s permission, is for you. And the enemies of Allah are in front of you. Attack them everywhere. Make the earth shake beneath them. And be patient and firm, for Allah is with you.

O Muslims, this is a blessed hour on a blessed day. I will supplicate, so say āmīn. O Allah, support the mujāhidīn everywhere fighting for Your cause. O Allah, make their hearts steadfast, plant their feet firmly, and grant them an overwhelming victory and clear conquest. O Allah make this month a month of victories for the Muslims everywhere and make it a month of disasters, defeats, and disgrace for the kuffār everywhere. O Allah, deal with everyone who declares the blood of the mujāhidīn fighting for Your cause as halāl and wages war against them under the pretext that they are Khawārij. O Allah, splinter their unity, divide their gathering, and break all of their backs. O Allah, deal with everyone who incites against the mujāhidīn fighting for Your cause and gives verdicts ordering to kill them under the pretext that they are Khawārij. O Allah, make them succumb to diseases and calamities. O Allah, make them an example for the people and an admonishment. There is no god but You. You are exalted. Indeed, we have been from the wrongdoers. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the creation.

Does the Islamic State take slaves from the Sahawat Murtadeen (sahawat apostates in Iraq and Shaam)?

ismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Some rumours and lies have been spread by the enemies of the Islamic State Khilafah that it takes slaves, especially female slaves, from amongst the relatives of the Sahawat Murtadeen (pro-West apostates) of Iraq and Syria. This is a lie and has no basis in reality. The Islamic State Khilafah does not take slaves from amongst the relatives of the Murtadeen, and neither does it make Sabāyah (concubines) of their women. Here is a clarification of the Islamic States policy regarding the relatives of the Sahawat Murtadeen from Amir Ul-Mumineens latest speech, “March Forth Whether Light or Heavy“:

O Ahlus-Sunnah in Iraq, and specifically our people in al-Anbār, be certain that our hearts are broken on account of your leaving of your homes and your lands, and your seeking of shelter in the territory of the Rāfidah and the Kurdish atheists, and your being forced to wander the lands. And even if some of your relatives are apostates waging war against the religion of Allah and allied with the Rāfidah and the Crusaders, then we don’t hold you accountable for their crimes. So return to your lands, and remain in your homes, and seek shelter – after first seeking shelter with Allah – with your people in the Islamic State, for you will find therein, by Allah’s permission, a warm embrace and a safe refuge. For you are our people. We defend you, your honor, and your wealth. We want you to be mighty and noble, we want you to be safe and secure, and we want your salvation from Hellfire.

This is a translation of a brief biography of one of the Islamic state leaders that was recently martyred – Abu Muhannad As-Sweidāwi. The Islamic state named the ongoing battles in Anbār after him. These were the battles through which Allah enabled the Islamic State conquer the city of Ramadi on 16th May 2015.

Abū Muhannad As-Sweidāwi (Also known as Haji Dawūd or Abū Abdisalām) was among the leaders of Islamic state and one of its pillars. He was a practicing scholar and a highly experienced military man.

He was appointed to administer some of the important centers in the Islamic State; he was the governor of Al Anbār towards the end of his life and was the fuel of its battles.

He was among the closest people to Sheikh Abū Mus’ab Az-Zarqāwi and Abū Abdurahmān Al Bilāwi (May Allah accept them all). [Al Bilāwi was the architect of the recent victories of the Islamic state in Iraq i.e. the 2014 victories in Anbaar,Mosul(Nainawa), Salahudeen and Kirkuk. The Islamic State official spokesman Abu Muhammad Al Adnani eulogized him in the audio statement “Whatever good that befalls you, is from Allah”]. As-Sweydawi and Bilawi were friends both in childhood and in Jihad.

As-Sweidāwi was determined in his matters never compromising on the religion of Allah, harsh against the enemies of Allah. Humbleness and kindness is what we saw in him; he used to be soft with his soldiers and was held in high esteem among them. He liked the Muhajireen so much and was patient with their shortcomings.

I heard that he witnessed the first and the second battles of Fallujah. He was very brave and an ideal leader. He would advance with his soldiers during the battles and would inspire them hence strengthening their determination. He planed the epic battles in Al Anbaar and participated in them. He also planned the Abu Ghuraib prison break and Allah opened it through his hands. Mere words are insufficient to describe the status of such men.

He got martyred by a crusader airstrike after many years of combating the enemies of Allah. May Allah have mercy on you O noble shaykh.

مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا

Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least. [Suratul Ahzāb 23]

We thank our listeners for tuning in and present the following Islamic State news bulletin for Monday, the 1st of Rajab in the year 1436 of the prophetic hijrah.

The following is a glimpse at our most important headlines:

■ Ongoing battles inside the Bījī refinery as the soldiers of the Khilāfah continue their advance in an effort to clear the rest of the refinery.

■ A number of Sahwah commanders are killed in an ambush set up by the soldiers of the Khilāfah in Shamāl Baghdad.

♢ In Wilāyat Salāhuddīn:

● Battles continued for a fifth day between the soldiers of the Khilāfah and the Rāfidah in the area of Honday and in the Bījī refinery as the mujāhidīn continue their advance in an effort to clear the rest of the refinery.

● In the Sikak area west of Bījī, the mujāhidīn targeted and destroyed a Safawī Abrams tank using a Konkurs missile. They likewise destroyed a hummer using heavy weapons during the course of battles taking place in the same region.

● On the highway near the area of Hawīsh northwest of the city of Sāmurrā’, a high-ranking Iranian officer was killed when Islamic State detachments carried out an assault on multiple Safawī barracks.

♢ In Wilāyat Shamāl Baghdad:

● Islamic State snipers killed a Rāfidī Mobilization fighter near the area of Balad.

● Near Saddat Sāmurrā’, the mujāhidīn targeted the Muthannā base with mortar rounds. They also targeted Safawī barracks with various types of weapons, destroying the barracks and killing everyone inside.

● In the area of Farhātiyyah near the Rumaylāt bridge, the soldiers of the Khilāfah targeted a Rāfidī Mobilization position with light weapons, killing and wounding a number of their fighters.

● They also completely destroyed a Safawī hummer with an IED in the area of Tārimiyyah in the village of Shaykh Hamad, killing and wounding a number of Safawī soldiers.

● An Islamic State security detachment succeeded in ambushing a number of Sahwah leaders near the area of Tārimiyyah, including:

》 The murtadd Thābit Khalaf Humayd Hamad, formerly a Sahwah leader in Ramadi, and currently a Sahwah leader in the area of Mushāhadah, who was killed in the operation.

》 The murtadd ‘Arrāk az-Zuhayrī, a Sahwah leader in the area of Dujayl, who was killed in the operation.

》 The murtadd Salāh Khalaf Humayd Hamad, a Sahwah leader in the area of Mushāhadah, who was seriously wounded in the operation, with four of his bodyguards killed.

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah also targeted Rāfidī Mobilization positions in the area of Sayyid Gharīb using mortar rounds.

● Near the area of Mahattat Balad, the mujāhidīn targeted Rāfidī Mobilization barracks as well as a hummer using heavy weapons, destroying the hummer, burning three barracks, and killing and wounding those inside.

♢ In Wilāyat al-Janūb:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah carried out widespread attacks on Safawī barracks and headquarters using various types of aresenal, including small and medium weapons, as well as SPG-9 rockets.

● During the course of fighting in the area of Hītāwiyyīn in Zawba’, a Safawī hummer was destroyed and all those inside were killed.

● In the same area, the soldiers of the Khilāfah targeted Safawī barracks with 20 mortar rounds and 6 artillery shells, landing direct hits on their targets.

● In al-Qasr al-Awsat in Yūsufiyyah, a car bomb was detonated targeting Safawī soldiers and Rāfidī Mobilization fighters, killing 15 of them. This was followed by an IED blast in the same place targeting more of them as they gathered at the site of the first blast, killing 10 more, walhamdulillāh.

● In the area of Khataymiyyah in Rashīd, an IED was detonated targeting Rāfidī Mobilization fighters and wounding two of them. Upon the arrival of support units at the site of the blast, a second IED was detonated, damaging a hummer and killing those inside.

● Also in the region of Rashīd, an IED detonation targeted a Safawī foot patrol, killing and wounding a number of murtaddīn. The mujāhidīn likewise bombarded the 3rd Regiment Safawī base with several mortar rounds.

● In the area of Gharīr in Latīfiyyah, an IED was detonated targeting a Safawī hummer, leaving it damaged and wounding those inside, including a Safawī intelligence officer named Wisām. A support unit that arrived to treat the wounded was targeted with light and medium weapons, leading to three of them being killed, walhamdulillāh.

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah also targeted the Tāriq base located near the city of Fallūjah in Zawba’ using mortar rounds.

● In the same area, Sahwah positions were targeted with several mortar rounds.

● In the area of ‘Arab Jabūr, an IED blast damaged a Safawī hummer and wounded those inside.

♢ In Wilāyat al-Anbār:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah detonated a series of IEDs targeting a supply convoy for the Safawī army and Sahwāt along the desert road stretching from the area of 160 Kilo to the Safawī-controlled Asad base. The convoy was targeted at four points along the road, leading to numerous vehicles being destroyed and dozens being killed.

● In Ramadi, an istishhādī attack was carried out targeting a collection of Safawī SWAT militia vehicles near Masjid Haqq, leaving multiple vehicles destroyed and a number of Safawiyyīn killed and wounded.

● In the area of the stadium in Ramadi, the soldiers of the Khilāfah took control of the Amjād School in which the Safawī SWAT militia was based. They also took control of the municipal administration building near Masjid Haqq.

● A hummer belonging to the Safawī SWAT militia was destroyed and those inside were killed when it was targeted by the mujāhidīn in the agricultural area in Ramadi.

♢ In Wilāyat Kirkūk:

● Our brother Abū Qatādah al-Jiblāwī carried out an istishhādī attack, detonating his explosive vehicle in the midst of Rāfidī Mobilization and Peshmerga fighters near the village of Bashīr in Dāqūq, killing and wounding many of them and destroying a number of tanks and vehicles. May Allah accept our brother amongst the shuhadā’.

♢ In Wilāyat Diyālā:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah detonated an IED targeting Rāfidī Mobilization fighters in the area of ‘Ibārah in Hirz, killing two captains and critically wounding three other fighters.

♢ In Wilāyat Nīnawā:

● Islamic State snipers shot two Peshmerga fighters, one in the area of Askay Mosul, and the other at Mount Fādiliyyah.

● The mujāhidīn also launched two Katyusha rockets at the brigade base in the region of Khāzir.

♢ In Wilāyat Halab:

● Nusayrī warplanes bombed the areas surrounding Kuwayris airbase with explosive barrels, including the village of Kiskays where there was extensive damage to Muslim property as a result. We ask Allah to protect the Muslims.

● Gun battles took place between the soldiers of the Khilāfah and the Nusayriyyah in the area of Tal ‘Aran.

♢ In Wilāyat Tarābulus:

● An Islamic State sniper detachment in the city of Tarābulus  shot a murtadd criminal in the area of Farnāj.

♢ In Wilāyat Saynā’:

● An armored vehicle belonging to the murtadd army was blown up in Salāhuddīn Square in Rafah, killing all those inside, including an officer, walhamdulillāh.

♢ In Wilāyat al-Barakah:

● Nusayrī warplanes bombed the region of Maylabiyyah with four explosive barrels. We ask Allah to protect the Muslims.

JIHAD WITH ONE’S WEALTH

Allah (swt) says in Surah Baqarah 195:
“And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining from spending in Jihad]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the good doers”

He (swt) also says in Surah Baqarah 245: “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants in abundance, and to Him you will be returned”

And our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:
“Whoever spends in the path of Allah, it would be multiplied for them 700 times” [Tirmidhi]

Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Fight the mushriks by means of your wealth and your selves and your tongues.” [Abu Dawood, 2186]. Al-San’aani said in Subul al-Salaam, 4/87:
This hadeeth indicates that it is obligatory to fight in jihad with one’s self, which means going out and confronting the kuffaar directly; with one’s wealth, which means spending on what is required for jihad such as weapons etc; and with one’s tongue, by establishing proof against them, calling them to Allaah, and by raising one’s voices when meeting the enemy and shouting at them and everything else that will cause harm 
to the enemies.

Al-Shawkaani said in Nayl al-Awtaar (8/29): This indicates that it is obligatory to engage in jihad against the enemy with one’s wealth, one’s hands and one’s tongue. The Qur’aanic command mentions jihad with one’s self and one’s wealth in several places, and the apparent meaning of the command is that it is obligatory.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said in al-Ikhtiyaaraat, p. 530: Whoever is unable to take part in jihad physically but is able to take part in jihad by means of his wealth, is obliged to take part in jihad by means of his wealth. So those who are well off must spend for the sake of Allaah.

Based on this: it is obligatory for women to take part in jihad by means of their wealth if they have excess wealth. The same applies to the wealth of minors if there is a need, just as it is also obligatory to pay zakaah on this wealth. But if the enemy attacks, there is no room for differences of opinion, because in that case it is obligatory according to scholarly consensus, to ward off their harm to religious commitment, lives and honour.

Spending for the sake of Allaah is one of the best kinds of charity, for which Allaah has promised a great reward.
He says: “The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allaah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allaah gives manifold increase to whom He wills. And Allaah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower”[al-Baqarah 2:261]

Al-Sa’di (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allaah” means, in obedience to Him and seeking His pleasure, foremost among which is spending on jihad for His sake. “Is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains”this gives a vivid image of the greatness of the multiple reward, as if a person can see that with his own eyes, so that with strong faith and this vivid image in his mind, a man will be able to spend in the hope of this great reward from Allaah. “Allaah gives manifold increase” meaning, this multiplication of the reward, “to whom He wills”, meaning according to the situation of the giver and his sincerity and honesty, and according to the situation of what is given, whether it is halaal and beneficial and whether it is spent in an appropriate manner. “Allaah gives manifold increase” – more than that, “to whom He wills” – so He gives them reward without reckoning.“And Allaah is All-Sufficient” giving abundantly, so the giver should not imagine that this increase is a kind of exaggeration, because no bounty is too great for Allaah to give, and giving does not decrease what He possesses of bounty. And He is “All-Knower” and knows who deserves that increase and who does not, so He bestows the increase as appropriate because of His complete knowledge and wisdom

For those who are unable to migrate to the Islamic State but have the ability to support the Jihad and the Muhajireen. This is the next best thing you can do aside from striking the enemies In Dar al-Kufr.

The virtues of doing so are countless as mentioned by Prophet Muhammad (saw) in numerous ahadith.

”Whoever prepares a fighter going out in the Path of Allah has, in fact, fought. And whoever takes good care of the family left behind by the fighter in the Path of Allah has, in fact, fought.” [Bukhari]

“Whoever prepared a fighter going out in the Path of Allah will have the same reward as him (the fighter) without the reward of the fighter being decreased at all.” [Ibn Majah]

And this is a great opportunity for a man if he is excused in not marching forth (such as the blind, the lame, etc.), because he has the chance to prepare one who will fight in the Path of Allah and recieve the reward of his fighting. And there is no doubt that this is a mighty gate from the gates of good and righteousness and is the best thing that one’s charity and Zakah can go to. In addition, it falls under the category of being ‘In the Path of Allah’ (Fi Sabilillah).

And it is also an opportunity for the woman that is not able to go out in the Path of Allah, because it is within her ability to prepare the fighters using her wealth, jewelry, and whatever else she can find to have a share of this great reward. Women played a great role in the early days of Islam as well as during various other time periods, and we can not fail to mention here what was done by the sister of the heroic martyred commander Abu Ja’far al Yemeni (may Allah have Mercy upon him), as was mentioned in his biography on theQoqaz.com website:
She sold all of her gold and prepared him with the wealth that she gained from that.

So where are the likes of such women?
Rather, where are the men?

Likewise, there is an opportunity in this for the one who is unable to give his own wealth, because he can prepare a fighter by collecting money from others in order to give to them.

The Prophet (saw) said: “The one faciliates a good act being performed is like the one who performed it”

Exposing The Deviance of Al Qaidah 2.0

The Islamic State in Yemen carried out martydom opperations in some shia temples(Note: The shias call them Huseiniyats not Mosques) in San’a and Sadah and by the grace of Allah they killed more than a hundred from the Huthi Shia Murtadeen. The attack also killed some prominent shia clerics that considered slandering ummul Mu’miniin ‘Aisha(RA) and calling her an adulteress an act of worship. The news spread in the Media then The Islamic State released a statement claiming responsibility for these blessed attacks:

This follows the repeated call by the Khilafah:

“O soldiers of Yemen…. O people of support and aid….. O people of wisdom and faith…. be harsh against the Huthi Rāfidha, for they are kuffar appostates.Fight them and overcome them.Be certain that their turn is coming and it will be in your favour, for the Rāfidha are a forsaken nation.If they had found Muwahideen to fight them, their evil would not have festered. Thus, seek Allah’s aid, for you can handle them, insha’Allah.Strike their shirk with your tawheed, and Allah will break their strength. Allah will transfer their wealth and arms to you. You will seize it from their hands as war booty through which you will support Allah’s religion and continue to be the people of support.” [The Khalifah Ibrahim Abubakar Al Baghdadi(HA) in his speech “Even if the disbelievers despise such” in which he accepted the bayahs from Yemen,Algeria,Sinai,Al Haramayn and Libya]

“Alas for San’aa! the rafidhī huthis have entered it, but the car bombs have not roasted their skin, nor have the explosive belts and the IEDs cut their joints. Is there not in Yemen, a person who will take revenge for us from the huthis?” [Sheykhul Mujahid Abu Muhammad Al Adnani Ashami (HA) in the audio statement “Indeed your Lord is ever watchful” released on 21/9/2014]

The above statements by the Khilafah did not go down well with Al Qaidah in the Arabian Peninsula(AQAP).So they released an audio statement by sh Harith An-Nadhari(May Allah forgive him and accept his shahadah) in which they tried to prove that they really are harsh against the Shia kuffar and they cleverly tried to potray to the Muslim ummah that they indeed are making takfeer on the Huthis which was not the case.

This statement and the ‘aqeedah and manhaj of Al Qaidah 2.0 were refuted by Sheykh Abu Maysara Ashami(HA) in Dabiq 6.He exposed their reality which they were hidding.In it he says:

“Furthermore, an-Nadhārī fell into a bizarre contradiction, for he emphasized his affiliation with his amīr, adh-Dhawāhirī, who doesn’t make takfīr of the Rāfidah to begin with. And if adhDhawārī were to consider making takfīr of them, he wouldn’t “make takfīr” of them except for one justification: supporting America in their aggression towards the Muslims.So how does an-Nadhārī make takfīr of the Rāf idah and the army without the elaboration of adh-Dhawāhirī? Would he disobey his amīr whom he tried to defend, claiming that he never went astray! And how can he call to waging war against the Houthis when this goes against the Dhawāhirī directives that he was ordered to adhere to and as a result of which the evil of the Houthis and the new tāghūt in Yemen became exacerbated!” [ THE QA’IDAH OF ADH-DHAWAHIRI, AL-HARARI, AND AN-NADHARI, AND THE ABSENT YEMENI WISDOM By Abū Maysarah ash-Shāmī Dabiq 6 page 19]

So The clear ‘aqeedah and manhaj of alqaidah under Dhawahiri became clear when the Islamic State struck The Huthis in Yemen. AQAP could nolonger hide its erroneous ‘aqeedah. It immediately released a statement distancing itself from that act and euphemistically reffered to the Huthi Mushrikiin killed as Muslims.Below is the statement they released:

Take a look at the above statement that was released by Alqaidah under Adh-Dhawahiri(Alqaidah 2.0) and compare it with the statement bellow that was released by Alqaidah under sh Usamah bin Ladin(Alqaidah 1.0).It was published by AQAP on their official English Magazine Inspire issue 4 in the winter of 2010:

So Alqaidah under sh Usamah considers Houthi Rafidha a legitimate target and warns Ahl As-Sunnah to avoid:

1. their meeting places
2. motorcades
3. checkpoints
4. and warns them from riding with them in their vehicles.

Aint the above 4, public gatherings that “Muslims(i.e. Huthis)” could be killed? what has changed?

Anyone who examins today’s Alqaidah with a sincere mind will see that they have actually deviated from the right ‘aqeedah and Manhaj May Allah guide them.

10 Facts From the Islamic State that you should know.

1. We don’t pay rent here. Houses are given for free.

2. We pay neither electric nor water bills.

3. We are given monthly groceries. Spagetti, pasta, can foods, rice, eggs etc.

4. Monthly allowance are given not only to husband and wife (wives) but also for each child.

5. Medical check up and medication are free – The Islamic State pays on behalf of you.

6. You can still survive even if you don’t speak Arabic. You can find almost every race and nationality here.

7. For every newly married couples are given 700usd as a gift. (I’m not sure if it’s still available now).

8. You don’t have to pay tax (If you’re Muslim).

9. No one is conducting business during prayer time. You can see people leaving their shops open and pray either in the masjid or near by their shops.

10. The number of mix-marriages and mixed-race children are so high. It’s beautiful to witness brotherhood with no racism.
